How are you different from other online car buying sites like Carwow, Carspring etc.?

What is a soft and hard search, and what are the differences?
A ‘hard’ search leaves a footprint on your credit profile, whereby a ‘soft’ search does not. Therefore a ‘soft’ search is ‘zero impact’, and a hard search, especially where multiple searches/credit requests are applied for, can have a detrimental impact on your credit score.
What if I have poor credit score?
We have one of the industry’s broadest panel of lenders, so even if your credit score is poor we may be able to match you and your unique circumstances to the most suitable lender. However, we cannot guarantee approval for everyone.
Do I have to put down a deposit?
Yes, there is a £200 deposit required. However, most lenders will require a larger deposit than this for you to secure finance offers. On the website during the application process we indicate how many more lenders you may secure offers from if you were to increase your deposit amount. Your chosen additional deposit amount will be payable at the point you sign your finance agreement.
Are there any hidden costs?
Absolutely none. All our lender offers together with all fees where relevant are clearly displayed before you go ahead and complete any application. There are no hidden extras.
What about Road Tax?
Your vehicle will always arrive with road tax. New cars come with 12 months and used cars with 6 months.
Do all cars come with an MOT?
Yes, where necessary they do. All new cars do not need an MOT for 3 years. When you purchase a used car over 3 years old through FairSquare it will always be supplied with a minimum 6 month MOT.
Where do you get your cars from?
FairSquare has access to thousands of new and used cars across the UK through our large network of dealer groups. This allows you to have access to a much wider range and choice of both cars and finance offers from the comfort of your own home.
Can I part exchange or trade in my existing car?
We recognise the importance of trade-in and we are developing a market-leading online trade-in service, which is coming soon.
My existing car is already on finance. If I want to change it, what do I do?
If you have an existing finance agreement, you should speak to your existing provider and ask for a settlement quotation. This will inform you of the amount required to settle your agreement.
How much can I borrow?
We have a lender panel that can finance from £5,000 to £60,000.
We are working with our lenders to finance cars over £60,000 and will be able to offer this soon
What if you don’t have the car I want in stock?
Subject to certain criteria we put in place to protect you, it may be possible for you to use FairSquare finance to purchase a vehicle from somewhere else.
What about warranties?
All our new cars come with exactly the same manufacturer-provided warranty you’d get if you purchased the car in a dealership.
All our used cars come with a minimum six-month warranty as standard.
Are used cars quality checked before you sell them?
Yes, all our vehicles undergo comprehensive and market-leading pre-delivery inspection and checks.
Do you offer a delivery service?
Yes, your chosen vehicle will be delivered straight to your home address completely free of charge.
Once all application documents have been completed, one of our customer service agents will call you to arrange the delivery of your car.
What happens if I change my mind?
We offer you a 14-day right to cancel and withdraw.
FairSquare is one of the few UK car supply/credit platforms that offers a right to withdraw and a right to cancel. Once the car has been purchased, most dealers will only offer right to withdraw from the finance deal, which means you are still obligated to purchase the car even if you withdraw from the finance agreement. The FairSquare 14-day money back guarantee allows you to withdraw from the finance agreement and cancel the car purchase, meaning you have more freedom to walk away from a deal you aren’t comfortable with.
